What are the reasons to live in Oeiras?
Oeiras is the best municipality to live in Portugal. It is located between Lisbon and Cascais, only 20 minutes away, by train, to the centre. It is also close to national roads that lead to IC19.

This municipality was elected, by Amazon and Google, as the place to open their offices in Portugal. Oeiras is the most tertiary region of the country, which converts it into the area with the highest wages per family units, in Portugal.

Concerning the infrastructures, Oeiras presents a vast offer of public and private schools (considered the safest schools of the country ), public and private hospitals, a Shopping Centre (Oeiras Parque) and several public parks, such as the Quinta do Marquês de Pombal (the Marquês de Pombal´s manor house, which includes the gardens of the Marquês de Pombal´s Palace and the Almirante Gago Coutinho´s garden), Parque dos Poetas, (the poet´s park), Quinta Real de Caxias, (the royal manor house of Caxias), the national sports centre in Jamor and the Barcarena Gunpowder Factory.

Oeiras provides the finest sea views, from Lisbon to Cascais, in locations like Alto Santa Catarina, Alto Lagoal e Alto Paço de Arcos and several beaches spread over 9 kilometres plus a seafront promenade that intends to connect, on foot, Cascais to Lisbon.
